An Antiguan woman whose son was murdered in the US by a former NFL player says her heart goes out to the killer’s mother following his apparent suicide in prison.
Ursula Lloyd has told Observer Media in a telephone interview from Boston that she knows the anguish that the mother of Aaron Hernandez is going through with his death.
Twenty-seven-year-old Hernandez was serving life without the possibility of parole for killing Lloyd’s son Odin Lloyd in 2013.
Ursula Lloyd says she will reach out to the mother of the former New England Patriots player.

Lloyd says that four years on, she is still grieving for her son.

Just last Friday Aaron Hernandez was moved to tears in a Massachusetts Court when he was acquitted of the 2012 murders of two men.
Prison officials at the maximum-security state prison where he was housed say they found him hanging in his single cell this morning. They also allege that he had used a bed sheet was attached to a cell window.
The unresponsive Hernandez was pronounced dead an hour after being rushed to a nearby hospital.
