Kaeve Armstrong wins Jaycees Queen competition

St Kitts/Nevis’ Kaeve Armstrong won the 53rd Jaycees Queen competition, which was held at Carnival City on Friday night.

Antigua & Barbuda’s Heidigail Francis copped the 1st runner-up spot and Dominica’s Francine Baron captured the 2nd runner-up position.

When the judges’ decision was announced early this morning (Saturday), Armstrong was declared overall winner from a field of 12 delegates who competed in Swimwear, Evening Wear and Talent segments. The five top performers in those categories then competed in the final segment, Interview.

Armstrong won best talent, while Miss Antigua secured the award for best modelling skills. The best interview segment was won by Miss St Vincent & The Grenadines’ Karla Gillezeau.

Miss Dominica copped the most photogenic award and Haiti’s representative, Gaelle Cazeau, captured the Most Congenial award.

The Jaycees Queen competition is held annually as part of Antigua & Barbuda’s Carnival celebrations.

  2. From all accounts, Kaeve was suppose to tek dat crown from since the Ms Carival in St Vincent. She show her true colors last night. Big up to Ms St Kitts. Bless up! you represented us very well. Proud of you. Hugs!!!!

    By the way, how come they win announce a winner for evening wear segment?
