Greene qualifies for World Championships

National sprinter Cejhae Greene recorded a time of 10:10 x the Gamecocks Invitational on Saturday to win the 100-metre finals and qualify for this year’s World Championships in London.
The Antiguan speedster, who is the son of school principals Dr Colin and Jonah Greene, was contesting in his second race of the new season.
He clocked 10:23 in his opening meet. 
Meanwhile, former national sprinter Miguel Francis opened his season with a 20:44 time to win the 200 metres at the Utech Invitational Classic.
The athlete, who has switched his allegiance to Great Britain, finished ahead of Rasheed Dwyer and Jason Young in the close race.
