The police are seeking the assistance of the public to identify a man’s body, which washed up on the rocky shore of Dian Bay yesterday afternoon.
OBSERVER media understands that a fisherman, who was looking for a place to cast his line, made the discovery and called the police.
A Wilikies stationed constable said he received the call at around 3:45 pm.
When OBSERVER arrived on the scene, about 10 police officers from the Willikies Police Station and the Homicide Unit were investigating.
