Barbuda Runway To Cost US 14.5 Million

The government says the company that is building the new Barbuda runway, has said it will cost about 14.5 million US dollars.
The government spokesman, Lionel Max Hurst says officials from BHM Engineering and Construction Group gave the figure yesterday during the Cabinet meeting.
The runway will be 6100 feet.
Hurst says the British company is working to have the final drawing ready by the end of May.
He also says the firm’s representatives will meet with experts in the Ministry of Aviation and with B.T. Lewis over the next two days.
They will finalize the plans for the runway which has been approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
