All committees of the Barbuda Council have been appointed but the most contentious issue of the nomination of a senator was struck from yesterday’s agenda at the request of the Barbuda Peoples Movement (BPM).
According to Councilman and BPM Political Leader, Trevor Walker, his faction would “not entertain a vote on selecting a senator” before there were discussions with the Antigua & Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) on the nominee.
